Four sisters enjoyed this wonderful experience…. Had a greet teacher with a great venue and snacks and wine!! Tips from Tucker provided info on pizza from local Brickside Pizza(try the cauliflower crust)… a fun, different, memorable afternoon!!!

I gave this class to my mom as a Christmas gift. The shop was very accommodating when we asked to postpone by a month due to the high pandemic rate in CT over the holidays. My mom and I ended up enjoying what was the best painting class ever in early February! We were the only students on a Wednesday morning and our teacher, Dori, was exceptional! Dori welcomed us, allowed us to choose any scene we’d like to paint since it was only us for that session (we chose the scene from our original class - the snowy woods cabin), and gave us incredible one-on-one instruction (including kind and interesting conversation!). Dori even gifted us her own painting at the end of class. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning at Essex Paint & Sip and are still talking about the experience days later. Nice job overall Essex Paint & Sip! The only room for improvement I’d suggest is that the session advertised a sip of coffee at 10:30, so we arrived early for that, and unfortunately there was none available that morning.
