The Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue (CDHR) was founded in 2011. To date they have rescued over 100 draft horses and currently have 12 residents on their farm in East Hampton. Their mission is to give draft horses a second chance at life, saving them through intercepts, auctions, and kill pens, as well as providing a home for horses whose owners can no longer provide care for them. To help support this incredible organization each participant will get to paint a horse of their choosing. Submit a picture of your horse or choose to paint one from their farm! This is an event you won't want to miss!
